28th Annual Winni Derby

The 28th annual Winni Derby on Lake Winnipesaukee will be held May 15-17 with over $60,000 in prizes for daily and major catches being awarded. Only Landlocked Salmon and Lake Trout taken from Lake Winnipesaukee shall be eligible for prizes.

To register for the Winni Derby you may enter by mail, online or in person. To assure registration by return mail, the deadline for entries is May 09, 2009. Outlets on Lake Winnipesaukee will have entry forms until the close of business on Thursday, May 14th. Duplicate tickets issued will have a $5 charge.

Late registrations will be available at the Paugus Bay Sporting Goods store on Weirs Boulevard in Laconia and A.J.’s Bait & Tackle on Main Street in Meredith during business hours on May 15th. The fees for a late registration is $50 for an adult and $40 for a junior. Late registrations are valid for Saturday and Sunday only. No one will be allowed to enter after Friday. The Derby registration form is non-transferable and non-refund-able.
